Residential Conveyancing Fees
Our base fee starts from £750 plus VAT @ 20% and increases to £2,500 plus VAT @ 20% and disbursements up to a purchase/sale price of £1,000,000. We will provide you with an honest and reasonable estimate of fees at the initiation of a transaction and will endeavor to stick to the estimate given.
Due to the fact that no two transactions are the same, our costs will be tailored to the specifics of your transaction. Dealing with the acquisition of a home in a brand-new development or a leasehold unit, for example, would typically require more work and time than buying a freehold terraced house. This means that we won’t be able to tell you an accurate price for our services until we know all details relating to your specific transaction, including the sort of property you are buying or selling.
Additional charges may be applicable for work and services required over and above the standard legal procedures in a conveyancing transaction. If we are aware of these at the outset, we endeavor to include them in our estimate of charges. Sometimes, however, it only becomes apparent during a transaction that additional work will be required.
In addition to legal fees, you will be liable for disbursements
Usual disbursements on a property sale
Usual disbursements on a property purchase
Bankruptcy Searches confirm whether an individual is bankrupt.

Debt Recovery Fees
We will always endeavour to charge competitive legal fees. For our debt recovery work, these are usually calculated on an hourly basis. However, we may agree on a fixed fee upon assessment of your case.
Our hourly rates are as follows: –
We will provide you with an overall fee estimate at the start of your matter and shall aim to keep you updated throughout.
Small claims up to £10,000 - Our fee would be in the region of £3,000.00 to £4,500.00 plus VAT @ 20%
In a small claims matter, legal fees other than fixed costs are generally not recoverable from the other party. What this means is that you will usually be responsible for your own legal costs whatever the outcome of the Court action.
Disputed claims (depending on the value) can take up to 6-12 months to resolve under the small claims track.
Breakdown of small claim fees:
Pre-action letters and follow up correspondence: £500 – £1,000 plus VAT @ 20%
Issuing proceedings: £500 plus VAT – £750 plus VAT @ 20%
Disclosure/witness statements: £1,250 – £1,850 plus VAT @ 20%
Trial preparation: £750 – £900 plus VAT @ 20%
Recovering debts of more than £10,000 to £25,000 (Fast Track) - Our fees would be in the region of £8,000.00 to £15,000.00 plus VAT @ 20%
In these cases, it is possible for a successful party to recover its legal costs from the other side. However, please note, even where you are successful in your debt action, you are unlikely to recover 100% of your legal costs.
Disputed claims (depending on the value) can take up to 1-3 years to resolve in the fast track or multi-track.
Recovering debts of more than £25,000 to £100,000.00 - Our fees would be in the region of £30,000.00 to £60,000.00 plus VAT @ 20%
Disputed claims (depending on the value) can take up to 1-2 years to resolve in the fast track or multi-track.
